Green Christmas
SEASONS GREETINGS TO ALL
Well for us it time to put out the Christmas Lights and decorations.
Last year we started buying "SOLAR" Christmas Lights at the after Christmas sale at a local home improvement store.
They were the first decorations put out this year. Then we went to the home improvement store this year and started buying more to add to our decorations.
There is a bit of intial cost to them, however in the long run they will save us money on electricity cost as well as use of electricity. This year we will be about 60% solar. We hope by next year to have 100% solar outdoor Christmas lighting.
We suggest that you purchase these and switch over you Christmas decoration. These can also be found in several mail order catalogs and even retail stores are carrying them.
For those of you in the "Electric Light Parades" around the country, you can purchase solar lights, stake them out a few days before your even to let them charge up and then enjoy the wonderful lights with out going through batteries or gas powered generators to power your lights!
