- I traveled to New York in April to participate in the Satyagraha Leadership Retreat where i was in dialogue for 2 days with Gandhi's grandson Rajmohan, Buddhist elders from Sri Lanka and Thailand, academics from many universities including Yale and MIT, as well as many other inspired cultural leaders from around the world, gathered together to explore how the innate and potent force of truth might emerge from within this generation in response to climate change, just as it emerged through Gandhi's Satyagraha movement in response to British colonial rule, and in other people's through the ages. I was there as a reflection and representation of the creative edges of the emerging generation and of emerging culture, in a dialogue with leaders at the creative edges of institutional and establishment culture.
