cool site reference. as a water quality chemist - i'd suggest that we can clean up fresh water using filtration technology and proper disinfection. i do worry about the Nestle's and Bechtel's of the world, trying to buy water rights out from under indigenous peoples. Water is a gift, quite likely the seat of all sentience. I for one would like to see a major water clean-up project - getting the plastic and trash out of the oceans.
