Take a stand for sustainability. Join the green social network!

Greetings all,
We have created a new online channel and community for entrepreneurs and business owners called The Club E Network that is all about people following their dreams and building companies from the ground up. We are definitely dreamers and think big at Club E and love the idea of individuals pursuing their passion creating businesses that give back and make a difference in their community and/or the world. Hence, a segment of our programming is going to be dedicated to social entrepreneurship and I was curious what members of EQ would like to see us cover next year when we start developing and producing the video content.

The Club E Network is a great place to share your passions! It's all about spreading the word of entrepreneurship. A channel dedicated to Social Entrepreneurship is a great way to advocate change and make awakening entrepreneurs aware of the cause.

I would love to see some content on entrepreneurs adopting green policy into their plans. Also, some entrepreneurs that have businesses that were designed for sustainability. Like the worm poop company (really, try googling it) TerraCycle Inc.

Great! We need energy galore and extensive support networks. i would love to see you cover the Rural Economic Development Initiative, currently building capacity for clean development in the Mount Shasta bioregion and engaging citizens in an assets mapping process to create a climate-smart growth plan. (www.redishasta.com)

Rich in resources, poor in votes, State of Jefferson water and forests remain vulnerable to irresponsible extraction and private exploitation (see Nestle and McCloud). REDI Shasta is on a mission to make such business obsolete by generating local prosperity through conservation forestry, renewable energy, hemp agriculture, waste reduction and sustainable transit.

Join us this January 31, 2008 at College of the Siskiyous for a Focus the Nation event.

Thank you,

Happy 2008! If you get a chance on Jan 16, check out the www.ClubENetwork.com homepage and video player as EQ.TV's "Pura Vida Coffee Profits Children" will be featured on The Club E Network. It is Social Entrepreneurship week at Club E and we are hi-light some of the worlds leading social entrepreneurs and stories each day this week. EQ.TV joins the likes of SocialEdge.com, TED.com, Kiva and my others that are making in difference in their messages and missions.
